PSN Goodness on Our Beloved Handheld

Monday, October 20th, 2008

Well the long wait is over, we can now access the PlayStation Network through our handhelds. Be aware that although you can register from some countries, you cannot access PSN. It takes around 5 minutes to register -well it takes time to enter all those data without a keyboard- and then you only see a message stating that you can’t access the PSN because it is not available for your country.

PSN provides downloadable content like wallpapers, themes and videos besides demos of recently released titles on the PSP. PSN will definitely prove to be a new and wildly advanced distribution medium for the PSP.

Time goes fast

Sunday, October 5th, 2008

It has been a while that there has been no updates on the site (like 4 months). I am really sorry for this. Many things were happening on many frontiers. Now I am ready to move on with the site to bring up what is happening on the PSP world, what I have been reading and listening to around the Internet.

I was busy advancing in Killzone Liberation, an old PSP game that needs some attention from all serious players. Then came the Force Unleashed craze. The game is great for the PSP though I have read mixed feelings for other consoles. About those, we do not care.

And PES 2009/FIFA 2009 will be out soon. I hope I can bring some interesting news on those.

Hope to see you soon…

PSP-Maps v0.4 Review (8/10)

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Are you a student studying for a geography exam, and you don’t know where you put that old atlas, but you have your trusty PSP by your side and a wifi hotspot is available, then PSP-Maps 0.4 is your new best friend.

PSP-Maps

PSP-Maps v0.4 is the newest version of Royale’s homebrew google map viewer, this release is an excellent example of what a psp can do with a wifi hotspot. This release has some nifty little features including the most important part of this update, a CACHE, now you do not need a wifi hotspot to view the maps, it also adds some speed increases for the loading of the maps.
